Which yoga style suits you?


There are many styles and ways to stretch and sweat in yoga, it might take a few goes to find the one that is perfect for you. We quizzed Yoga teacher to the stars (hello Bingle and Kerr) Charlotte Dodson on the different styles.



Best known for Madonna’s banging body, Ashtanga yoga is a high powered cardio workout that involves performing six progressively difficult sequences (each can take up to 90 minutes), starting with ten sun salutations followed by the  beginner, intermediate or advanced sequences and concluding with a set of inverted postures – this is not for the faint hearted.  “Ashtanga is perfect for a ‘morning’ person! Once you decide to fully dedicate yourself to this powerful practice on a daily basis, the effort you expend is rewarded on every level – including changes in your body shape,” says Charlotte.
