If there’s one ritual we love most of all – it’s taking 5 to stretch our bodies every morning. Yoga is quickly becoming our go-to way to move in the morning, helping us to feel more peaceful and grounded in the present moment. But when it comes to conquering those tricky poses and dwelling in a calm mindset all day long, sometimes we need a little help from a fit friend. This week, we chat to feel-good yoga teacher Charlotte Dodson, a mindful guru who is beloved by fans and A-listers alike.
Our Sporty Sister of the Week is a girl after our own active hearts. Charlotte has been in the yoga world for more than a decade, completing a 3-year International Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching in Sydney, as well as practicing hatha, ashtanga and kundalini yoga with teachers across four continents. We feel super blessed to sit down with Charlotte and talk all things yoga, perspective and letting go of the things that don’t serve us.

MNB: Hi there, welcome to our humble MNB! Tell us a little bit about yourself. What’s your story?
Hi MNB readers, I’ve been practising and teaching yoga for over 15 years, and offer private sessions to many stars of the sporting, big/small screen, and business worlds – including Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom, Phoebe Tonkin, Lara Bingle and Stephanie Rice, to name but a few. I’ve also recently launched my own web TV network – charlottedodson.tv – with scheduled Yoga Classes and Yoga on-demand options with real time communication (live chat and tips). My wish is to spread the word of inspiration and positivity around the world.
MNB: Where are you & what are you doing right now?

I love being active and it’s always been an important part of my life. Yoga actually found me, it was a blessing in disguise. I moved from advertising into teaching yoga, and now it’s my full time passion. I got into Yoga (literally) by accident, and it completely changed my life …
